These terms are the agreement between your business and Novus Nexum Laboratories Inc. (“nnLabs”, “we”) when you buy a Sponsor Pack for nnLabs Reading Trials at nnlabs.quest. By ticking the box at checkout and on the setup form you accept them for your business.
1. Who can buy. Sponsor Packs are sold to businesses and organisations only, not to individuals for personal use. You confirm you are buying for a business and can bind it to these terms.
2. What you get for $500 (USD)
- One sponsored competition on nnlabs.quest, running for 30 days from a start date we agree.
- Your own competition page (nnlabs.quest/compete/your-name) showing your name, logo, link and prize.
- A referral link that credits readers you bring in.
- Your name on the share cards of runs in your competition.
- A live round on fresh passages for the top 10 entrants.
- An end-of-run report with totals: entrants, runs, referrals and audience reached.
Not included: a separate or white-label site, any reader’s personal information, and any guaranteed number of entrants or results.
3. Payment and tax. You pay the full fee at checkout through our payment provider. We never see your full card details. Prices exclude any sales tax, VAT or similar tax your location applies; where the law says you pay it, you do.
4. Approval. Nothing goes live until we approve it. After paying you’ll get a private setup link to send us your details. We may decline any submission, for example if it breaks section 7, competes with a sponsor already running, or we can’t verify your business. We aim to decide within 5 working days.
5. Refunds. All sales are final once we approve your competition. You get a full refund if we decline your submission, or if we cancel before your competition starts. If we have to end a running competition early for a reason that isn’t your fault, we refund the unused days. There’s no refund if you break these terms or ask to stop early. Nothing here removes rights the law gives you that can’t be removed.
6. The prize. You provide the prize. You send the full prize amount to us before go-live, in US dollars or USDC, and your competition can’t start until we confirm we’ve received it. We hold it and pay it to winners under the competition rules, which are published on your page and decided by the live round. If a prize can’t be awarded or isn’t claimed within the rules, it goes to the next eligible reader, and otherwise back to you. USDC payments can’t be reversed, so we pay only to an address the winner confirms in writing. Winners are responsible for their own taxes.
7. What you can’t sponsor with. We don’t accept sponsors or content for: gambling or betting, alcohol, tobacco or vaping, cannabis, adult content, weapons, political or religious campaigns, get-rich-quick or investment schemes, payday or high-cost lending, or anything misleading, hateful, illegal or aimed at children. Your logo and wording must be yours to use and must not suggest we endorse your products.
8. Your brand. You let us show your name, logo and link on nnlabs.quest, share cards and our sponsor list during and after your competition. You can ask us to remove you from the past-sponsor list at any time.
9. Reader data. You get totals only. We never give you readers’ names, emails or other personal details, and you may not try to identify or contact entrants through the competition. Readers’ privacy is covered by our Privacy Policy.
10. Running the competition. We run it under its published rules. We check runs for fair play and our decisions on results and winners are final.
11. Liability. The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fee you paid, and neither of us is liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
12. Changes and ending. We may update these terms for future purchases; the version you accepted applies to your competition. Either of us may end the agreement if the other seriously breaks it.
13. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States Virgin Islands, and its courts decide any dispute.
